Privacy Statement
Thank you for reading my privacy statement. I mainly use my website to share my contact details, to allow others to get in touch with me, and to publish blog posts. Any worries that you can’t resolve can be taken to the ICO, details are at the end of this statement.
The vast majority of websites, including sheenabyrom.com log data on: Used IP address in anonymous form; name of the retrieved page; date and time of retrieval; transferred amount of data; message about successful retrieval or an error message; browser type and version; operating system of the user; referrer URL (previously visited page). This is to keep the website running without errors and to make sure I keep serving you with the right kind of content for your needs, not to get any info about you. Our legal bases for this is Article 6 EU GDPR 1 (b).
Subscribing to my blog posts: When you register with my website to receive notification of my posts, you are directed to a contact form which asks for your email address. This is so that you can receive notifications responsively. You can unsubscribe from receiving emails by following the direction you receive when my site notifies you of a published blog. . A transfer of your data to countries outside the European Economic Area does not take place. Our legal basis for the collection of registration data is Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR and the customer’s consent.
Cookies: I use cookies which are small text files that your browser saves to your computer. These help me to analyse what you're using on my website in terms of pages or posts. Cookies give me information about your computer and how it connects to the internet; I get your IP address in a code (anonymously); your operating system; and browser used. I use this information to make the website better and to try and provide better posts for you. Most of the cookies will be ‘session cookies’ which are automatically deleted by your browser once you leave sheenabyrom.com. I sometimes analyse the data from the session cookies. Other cookies are stored for longer and I may use these to see if you come back to my website. I never give the information to anyone else. If you don't want cookies to be involved with your experience you can use the incognito or private mode of your browser. Contact Form: If you contact me using the contact form the information you give is only collected so that I can respond to you and make sure I can be helpful if you have any further questions. Your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, limitation of processing, data portability and to withdraw consent: You can ask for the data I have stored about you at any time. I am always happy to edit, delete, correct or remove sections of any personal data at any point you ask, unless there's an important legal reason for not doing so in which case I would get in touch with ICO for advice.
