Tragedy
/I came across this on another's blog. What an utter tragedy. Reading the testimonies to Kate, I think I would have liked her.

The Netherlands never fails to enthral me. Life revolves round the fiet, or bicycle. And it is captivating to watch whole families travel together with utter ease.

For all those, like me, that were brought up Roman Catholic. And for the extra special bit....if you have an Irish family! Absolute classic. We love these little voices, taken from real tapes found years later by a parish priest. Just listen. Amazing, amazing. My lovely Dutch granddaughter is learning how to climb with Papa....so strong and fearless! And speaking English too...what larks! Well done Minnie, we can't wait to see you next week...
What is it that you are so attracted to puddles of water, my beautiful scrumptious boys? All children must be...but this is real love.
A lovely walk over the hills proceeded by the best if bubbles. What tales of Aunty Kath and your family gone. Jill you are the best! The early evening in Settle is one to remember.....love you.
What a day to start this blog. I heard some exciting news, via email...about two hours ago. The publishing company, Headline, want to publish my memoirs as a midwife.....what an opportunity! For the most part, to log my career professionally is more than I could ever hope for, for me to reflect on it all, but mainly for my children's children to read (if they want to).....it feels quite bizarre. The book will be a biography.... similar to Call the Midwife, hmmmm
So now to think about the stories, tales and events from four decades. Such a lot to remember!
